Saw the first cut of the new ad. It keeps switching from 16:9 to 4:3 to square, can you check what the correct is supposed to be? If it’s a creative choice, I don’t know if I agree with it.
Oh, equipment-wise, we need to get a couple of new to shoot with, and check with both the photographers and videographers what they'd like besides the kit lenses.
If you’re ordering them from a website, be careful that you don’t get scammed by cheap prices! is rampant these days; we really need to stay vigilant on the internet.
While we’re on the subject of purchasing things, please add “” to your to-do list. We need a couple that will be able to keep up with all the proofs we need to produce. Don’t forget to get toner too!
Which reminds me - I think we should hire a producer who also . Having someone who understands how to splice clips and tell a story should help us make better content for our Youtube channel.
Anyway, back to the ad - the client seems to think that a will help market the product. I told her that just because a song is a Billboard #1 hit doesn’t mean it’s going to be on-brand but I’m not sure if she’ll listen. Maybe talk her out of it? The current indie track works perfectly, doesn’t matter that it hasn’t made it on any list.
Another weird client request - next time she comes into the office, could we draw the curtains? She likes how comfy our couch is but apparently whatever is outside the window directly opposite is really distracting to have in her direct . Who knows what her problem is with the view... just don’t let her see it.
One more thing she doesn’t like is the framed in the first shot. She wants a watercolour instead, but I’m trying to convince her that we need to stick to the same medium if she really wants the Mona Lisa feel. We just don’t have enough money to hire another artist.
On the technical side - we need to get the latest versions of all our software or we’ll have compatibility issues with our freelancers, who are currently using the most . I think you should be able to download everything from the Mac Store?
And make sure there is a for each - I know you usually have the shortcuts in the dock, but I like being able to see them on my wallpaper when I turn on the computer.
